Some time has passed since the last time I shared something but here we are again with some fish tales. Despite an icy start, it was another terrific trip to O'Sullivan's Rainbow.

A Blackburnian Warbler ...The cool, damp, and windy weather knocked down a bunch of warblers into the backyard today. We heard and saw tons of different warblers but they were extremely difficult to track down with my camera. Here's one of a series that I'll post, though.

 

I love it when an Osprey lands up close for a nice close up.

Our trailcam took 34 photos of bunnies running around the backyard last night and one of a fox.

We witnessed a small part of the annual migration that Tundra Swans make from their winter home on the US east coast (like the Carolinas) on their way to Canada's Arctic. Then they'll do the reverse trip in the fall. Tundra Swans spend about 20% of the year migrating due to their need to take frequent breaks during their trips. We're very fortunate to live a few minutes' walk from one of their favourite places for a pit stop. We saw over a thousand of these beauties pass through during the two hours we watched.
