Cooper's June in review. In no particular order but we've been quite lucky to spend some quality time with the wee gaffer.

We babysat our buddy for 24 hours and it all worked out.

Belted Kingfisher female with a fish fragment flying from her beak.

Rose-breasted Grosbeak somewhat close.

Someone's not skipping their chest workouts.

What's the scoop, Coop??

I returned from my fishing trip to find the birds in full protein harvest mode. Like this Yellow Warbler who seemed quite proud of his significant catch.

Cottage Life.

Some fun, that kid is.

Here's the Rose-breasted Grosbeak that's been hanging around our yard.

Loves candlelit dinners.

The Cape May Warbler.

An Indigo Bunting, pretty in pink.

Stoney Creek, ON

An Orchard Oriole in our orchard. By "our orchard" I mean our backyard. And by "our backyard" I mean our neighbour's backyard.

Hmm, wonder if the little fella's getting enough to eat?

Kisses.

Hairy Woodpecker with sawdust on his lips.

A Carolina Wren busily stocking its pantry (aka the roots of an upturned tree).

I spent most of Grade 9 hoping a girl, any girl, would look at me. But whenever one did, it was quite terrifying. (Red-breasted Mergansers)
