Quite the poser.

 

I learned a lot about photographing eclipses on April 8. Mostly what not to do but, for sure, I'll be better prepared for the next one in 2144.

 

At totality, it got quite chilly, the birds stopped singing, and the sensor lights came on.

We saw some Killdeers this morning and this is one of them.

The switch to daylight savings time affects some people harder than others and they end up floating through the next few days. Northern Pintail.

This Northern Cardinal didn't seem particularly pleased about sharing space in the snow with the White-throated Sparrow or even his girlfriend.
