Tilly Hats were a necessity when spending ten hours a day in a boat in the hot, sunny conditions of last week. Plus many litres of water and 50 SPF.

Home for the week was the cabin second on the left.

O'Sullivan's Rainbow camp.

Didn't rough it in the food department on the fishing trip.

In eight days, we had about one hour of cloudiness. Here's what it looked like.

My Father's Day shirt. (Thanks Meg!)

The lake felt like bath water...77 degree (F) this morning but saw it up to 79 a few times. Normal temperature for this time of year is closer to 60F.

The smell of bacon and eggs was too much for this little fella to resist popping by. For more fishing adventure shots, click on 'Older Posts' below.

A pair of loons that approached the boat. Didn't pack my big lens for the trip but at least you can tell they're loons.

Goldeneye brood.

Had to throttle back to trolling speed to let this gal swim past.

Saw more eagles on the lake than ever. Maybe due to way fewer boats bugging them.

Caught a lot of fish, ate a lot of fish.

Here's where we went.
