This pair of Ring-necked Ducks looked a bit menacing but were actually quite sweet.

Northern Cardinals - always available for a snap when everyone else is huddled away.

A Ruddy Duck trying hard not to get photo-bombed by the mallards and geese.

 

A Tufted Titmouse at the feeder along with a White-tailed Brown Warbler.

 

A weekend full of chasing after this little fella and going on some nice walks.

 

My New Year's resolution is to get my ducks in a row. (Goldeneyes)

 

We seldom see loons in Lake Ontario and if we do, they usually look like a black speck on the lens of my camera. So to see three of them together relatively close to shore was pretty special. These were taken over a few days at the end of December.
