The flowers are becoming rather decrepit but these guys are still out there doing their thing.

Felt a little horse this morning while hiking. No birds to report but there was a Jack in the Pulpit and a nice trail.

Note to self: Next time don't shoot the stars from a dock. It seemed like the best vantage point at the time but, even on a calm night, floating docks move quite a bit during a 20 second exposure as I discovered when I got a good look at my shots. The stars may be blurry but there were kinda cool colours.

Cool trip to the Long Point Bird Observatory where they identify species, determine age and gender, then band the birds as they migrate through the area. We saw the Grey-cheeked Thrush, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Warbling Vireo, Red-Eyed Vireos and a bunch more.
