Happy campers.

 

The Osprey's unwavering concentration and needle-sharp talons help make them remarkable fish hunters. Not only are those claws sharp, they're unique in that two toes face forward and two face backward making it easier for the Osprey to grip a slippery fish. This beauty was photographed during a rain shower hence the speckled appearance.

 

Common Watersnakes are pretty chill and I loved spending a few quiet moments with this one pondside.
