I rescued this Northern Pintail photo from the 2022 scrap heap. It's just one of dozens that I've found recently that didn't make the cut back then but are looking ok in 2024 when the winter ducks are few and far between.

Hard to believe our first grandchild is one year old and our first child is 35. We had a fun weekend celebrating both milestones.

 

Loves going to look at the swans, ducks and goosies up close.

 

King of the road...and the fields beside the road. All of these Horned Larks were snapped from the safety of my car blind. Only in a couple of shots do we see their wee horns on display.
