A horde of Cedar Waxwings descended on the backyard, popped back a few berries then stampeded off to the next yard.

Oh, and CJ was here for 10 days last month and he was such an entertaining little fella.

 

We had a multi-night guest and she made us smile pretty much every waking minute she was here.

This Great Blue Heron did a couple of really close fly-bys then landed on the boardwalk railing just metres away. (Point Pelee National Park)

 

We went out last night to look at the Northern Lights (first photo - Flamborough). Maybe we should have made the drive to Meggie's place where there was considerably more action going on (second and third photos - Jackson's Point).
