Alice in Bloomland at the RBG.

 

The backyard birds didn't seem to mind the big snowstorm but they sure do spend a lot of their time and energy keeping an eye on the sky for predators. You don't realize how much they keep their head on a swivel until you see them up close. Here we have Northern Cardinals, House Finches, Dark-eyed Juncos, a Mourning Dove and Goldfinches.

 

All those swans, ducks and geese to play with but what does she like best? The pigeons.
