Great Blue Heron perched in a tree overlooking the creek. Backlit shots tend not to work well for me but I didn't mind how this one turned out with the bokeh and all. Also, two local fellas I chatted with on consecutive days here referred to the creek as a 'crick' which is kind of cool.
